Booking massages in Amsterdam in writing, week after week, through one thread

Every booking with the house happens in writing, in one thread, from the first request to the last change of plan. On a weekend visit that thread holds three or four messages. On a long stay it holds months of them, and the way you use it shapes how smoothly massages in Amsterdam fit into the weeks.

One thread, one name

Write from the same account and under the same name each time. The thread then carries your history: the address, the floor, the bell, the formats you have booked and the therapists who came. A booking placed under another person's name is treated as a false one, whoever's flat it is, and the glossary explains why the house is strict about it.

Shorter messages over time

The first message has to carry everything. By the fifth, much of it is already known. If the address has not changed, say so rather than writing it out again; if the format and length match last week, say that. What must always be stated afresh is the day and the hour in Amsterdam time, since nothing about a past booking carries a date forward on its own.

Massages in Amsterdam when the address changes

Long stays move. A first month in a serviced apartment, then a lease on a flat, then a week in a hotel while the flat is repainted. Each time the address changes, write it out in full in the next request, with the floor and the bell, and say clearly that it is new. An old address left higher up in the thread is the usual cause of a visit to the wrong door.

The hour in the thread, and the hour on the clock

Clocks in Amsterdam change twice a year, at the end of March and the end of October, and a long stay often crosses one of those weekends. In the week the clocks move, a booking written as the usual time is an easy one to get wrong. Give the hour in full, in Amsterdam time, and there is nothing left to misread.

Keeping the thread to the booking

The thread works when it stays about the booking: dates, hours, lengths, addresses, names. Anything beyond what a booking needs can stay out of it, which keeps the record easy to scroll back through when you want to check which evening was which, or which therapist you saw in the first month.

When the stay ends

When the posting is over, the thread does not need closing. A guest who comes back to Amsterdam later can write in the same thread and is still a returning guest. The booking thread entry sets out how the house uses it from the first message onwards.

Often asked

Questions from this stretch of a stay

Can I book from a different phone while travelling?

Write from the account the thread already uses wherever you can, so the new booking sits with the rest of your history.

Do I need to repeat my address every time?

Only when it changes. Otherwise one line confirming that it is the same address is enough.

Can I book several dates in one message?

You can list them, but each is confirmed as its own booking, and each date planned more than a day ahead carries half in advance.
